Short version: Corgi Guard is a browser extension that helps you take breaks from social media. The core features are free. An optional one-time Pro upgrade costs US$5.99 and unlocks extra features.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Corgi Guard browser extension and the corgiguard.app website (together, the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Corgi Guard tracks the time you spend on sites you choose and shows a full-screen break overlay when your limit is reached. The extension runs locally in your browser and stores its settings on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Corgi Guard is a productivity aid, not a medical, parental-control, or security product. It can be bypassed and is not a substitute for professional advice about screen time or wellbeing.

The core features of Corgi Guard are free. An optional Pro upgrade is available for US$5.99 as a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro features (such as a custom pet image) for the lifetime of the product on your devices, subject to a reasonable per-license activation limit.
Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), which acts as our authorized merchant of record. Creem handles the checkout, billing, tax collection, and payment-related communications. Your payment is governed by Creem's terms in addition to these Terms.
After purchase you receive a license key by email. You activate Pro by entering this key in the extension. You are responsible for keeping your key private; we may revoke keys that are shared or abused.
If you are not satisfied with a Pro purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@corgiguard.app with your order details. Approved refunds are issued through Creem to your original payment method, and the associated license is deactivated.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will reduce your screen time or change your behavior.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or productivity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment, disclaimers, and liability) will survive.
We may update, add, or remove features, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Corgi Guard resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
